Mesh Easy Close Grill Bags (1 Large + 1 Medium)

These grill bags are designed like an envelope. Slide the food in to fill and then tuck the flap under a strap and pop them on the grill. This method of grilling makes it quick and easy to turn many small pieces at one time without losing food through the grates.I worked in batches to grill a large amount of veggies. Everything turned out great. The envelopes were easy to wash by hand. No food stuck to the mesh. A word of caution, those metal pieces used to attach the closure strap and reinforce the corners stay very hot. Avoid touching them when removing the grilled food.I liked the ease of turning so much food with just a flip of the wrist.

I am a vegetarian and love fresh grilled veggies. My spouse loves fish cooked on the grill. This pouch handles both wonderfully. I have a thin cutting board or more like a pad. I trimmed it so it fits inside this pouch. I can prepare all my veggies or fish and slip this cutting pad into the pouch and then slide the cutting pad out leaving the food nicely organized in the pouch. The best things is you can baste or add seasoning right through the bag. You can flip your food over without losing some or breaking your food to pieces. The cleanup is easy because nothing sticks. If you like to grill out and you like foods that fall apart this is what you want.

Never seen or had anything like this before. I’m really excited to give this a try. I love grilled veggies and this is going to be convenient for cooking them. No falling in between the rack and I’ll still be able to get those grill marks. Has a medium and large pouch. Can’t wait to fire up the grill!!

These are a good size and are easy to use. They don’t keep in moisture obviously, but are great to get a Smokey flavor on veggies and such. I just popped them in the dishwasher after and they cleaned right up.

Haven't actually tried yet but have read many good reviews on the Kona brand sleeves. These are in two nice sizes for whatever you want to roast, smoke flavors flow thru the mesh. Food safe under 500 degrees, easy to clean even dishwasher safe. I can't count the number of shrimp, peppers, onions I've lost in the coals, highly recommend.

To say these are "bags" might be a stretch. The size and shape are more like envelopes than bags. They even have a closure like an envelope. That means that whatever you put in these bags will be limited by the shape. But they do seem handy.The directions advise a single layer of food and no hotter than 500 degrees. I appreciate that you can throw these in the dishwasher to clean.It seems that when you grill in these you will miss the ubiquitous char-marks on your food, but they will do the trick to cook and you won't have to flip every single asparagus spear or summer squash slice - just flip the whole bag.It's too cold for grilling right now, but I'll update this review when it's warm enough to use these bags.UPDATE: We grilled some veggies and they turned out great! Even had the char which adds so much flavor.

I bought these some time ago and was leery to use them. However, I should not have waited. They are easy to use and I put them in the dishwasher when I was done. I have only used them for vegetables so far, but I am looking forward to trying them with shrimp next. I used a little cooking spray to prevent sticking. Overall they were great, look forward to my next use!

I really like these bags for grilling shrimp or smaller cut veggies - nothing falls through the grates of the grill and everything cooks great. Don't overfill it or you'll have a hard time closing it - but it's a 2 pack so that shouldn't be much of an issue

I used one pouch for BBQ shrimp (split and in the shell) and the other for the mixed vegetables cut in short 2”-3” sticks. I say quicker to cooks because you flop the whole pouch at the same time instead of each item or use a spatula that makes some fall between the grids. Therefore the lid stays open for a much shorter time. Nothing falls out or lost between the grids. I used to do that on a heat resident cooking mat but then the oil and vegies liquid stay and the food gets soggy.After cooking I left the pouches on the side tray for a couple of minutes and it was warm but could be handles, I opened the pouch and poured the stuff out into a tray. The food just slid off (except one stubborn shrimp tail).Cleaning, I just put in the dishwasher. I used the lower rack and placed the pouched with the plates. All came out clean without any issues.I think this is a good way to cook small stuff like the vegies and shrimp or similar small item.

These are a great option for small food items (like veggies, shrimp, fish, etc.) in the grill or smoker! They make flipping the food really easy and they're really good at being non-stick. When done, just toss them in the dishwasher. The only negative I see is the food can get wedged deep into the corners if you're not careful, and it can be very hard to clear it out if that happens.

Is it just me or do you too feel just a little bit sad when you see that onion or shrimp jump off into the abyss? guess it's me...I have solid sheets of a similar material that work well for smaller stuff, but some will still take the plunge. The envelope design eliminates the lose. Hold securely easy to flip and move with tongs.

These bags are a nice idea and will fit smaller items like shrimp well but you wouldn't be able to put anything large in them, they are a very stiff material and are sealed on the sides. Two sizes are a nice feature giving more versatility but I don't think they are an item I would use often.

These grill bags are great for keeping things together and flipping. I have a grill basket but I have the hardest time not losing everythihng when I flip it over. This solves that problem completely. However, I wasa hoping they would fit more. I like lots of veggies and I would never fit enough in these to complete a meal for us. So I will still use my basket for larger items and I will just use these for the smaller ones. Still useful.

My husband is the griller and I’m the one who likes grilled veggies. These are really nice. Tough and well constructed. You need to make sure the veggies are oiled well. I used a bowl and added some spices and salt and pepper before putting them in the bag for grilling. Grilled on the side of the grill. Both of us are really pleased.
