I was skeptical at first! But these really worked for me. I had a simple setup: A 26 Qt styrofoam cooler, an insulated cooler bag (silver type lining), and 2 Kona Ice Packs—no ice or anything else. I ensured all my items were refrigerated before placing them into the cooler. The cooler was packed full. I went on a 2-night camping trip and my food and drinks were ice cold. On the third day, I checked the temp and it was at 35.8F! The outside temperature was only about 60 degrees but I was very surprised that just 2 ice packs kept everything super cold. Of course I will try it out over the summer when it is hotter outside. Recommend you all try these out. Just follow the directions when you fill them up.

I recently decided to order a second set to be able to rotate them out, when I receive the new set one had small crack in the neck allowing it to leak a little.
I contacted Kona they promptly replaced it.

These work great fit in my lunchbox and keep my lunchbox cold all day long. Easy fill and freeze and your good to go.
They keep cold well in a cooler. Probably a little better than regular ice. Not having a puddle in the bottom is a good thing. I’m a UPS driver and bought this for my smaller cooler in moderate weather. I think it will do well with multiple in my big cooler in the summer. Thinking it’s in between a 4 and 5 I would say it’s a 5.
Filled and used for a recent hunt. They worked great. Keep them upright after you mix it up until fully frozen. It might leak until it forms up. After that, 5 stars all day. I’ll probably get more.

First off, these are large, heavy duty ice packs. They keep my cooler cold all day and freeze quickly, they come in a 4 pack but I've never had to use more than 2.These work very well and weren't expensive at all, definitely would recommend for anyone who likes a cold lunch throughout the summer or for trips to the beach
They seem to last a long time and kept what we had in our travel cooler perfect on our trip. We used 2 and some very slim ones these stayed frozen longer. Glad we got them.

Works great! We use it overnight to keep my son's formula cold while he is getting a continuous feed. 6 hours later, when his feed is done, the Kona ice pack is still frozen. Another plus for us is that it freezes fast. We can take it with us all day, come home, and it's frozen again within a couple of hours of us needing to use it again. I am very happy with the purchase of this product.
Stayed cold for me. But I haven't used them in a real hot environment. So I can't say how long they stay frozen.

Not much to say really. They freeze, and keep things cold. Seem to be durable enough, and are easy to fill.I’m not a fan of these ice packs, as they don’t get my drinks as cold as I would like. But to keep my lunch cool, and not have melted ice issues. These are perfect.

I bought these for road trips in our soft sode cooler. Just add water and freeze. They get super cold and work great!

Use it on a daily basis to keep drinks cold in my vehicle. They work great for me. 2nd set I ordered. They work during summer months as well all year.
