Safe/Clean Oven Cleaner / Degreaser - 23 fl. oz. Spray Bottle

Here's what I think after some time of using it.✔ Overall it gets the job done. Cleaning grease as advertised.✔ Does not have a strong odor when using or after use.Here are some issues tho:❌ They are not transparent with ingredients. (Not great when claiming to be non-toxic/ecofriendly)❌ It felt a bit inefficient. I had to use more sprays than I thought to clean minor things, BUT, it did clean them in fairness.⚖What's my verdict?⭐I don't know, it does a good job, but the lack of transparency bugs me... at least (and this goes to the manufacturer) put the ingredient list on the amazon page.Until then ⭐⭐⭐ and conditional buy IMO so long as you don't care about the transparency stuff.

I got this oven cleaner to use mostly for cleaning the stove. I usually clean the stove regularly since it is a lot easier than cleaning heavy grease stains. However, I tried this on pretty heavy grease stains as well, and I was amazed about how good it worked. It can easily clean light grease stains after one minute of being sprayed on it, but you have to let it sit for more than 30 minutes for heavy stains before wiping (according to the instructions). I waited for about an hour and tried cleaning a heavy stain and it worked pretty well as you can see in the pictures as well.Pros:1- Worked pretty great for both light and heavy grease stains. 2- Doesn’t have strong and unbearable chemical smell. 3- This oven cleaner seems to be really fume-free so far.Cons:1- There is no information provided about the ingredients in this spray. That is not a good sign for an eco-friendly and food-safe kitchen.Overall, this oven cleaner works very good and is very effective for cleaning both light and heavy grease stains.

The Kona Safe oven cleaner works as described, but does require some serious elbow grease. We recently moved into a new home and the previous owners left the oven a disaster. I generously sprayed this oven cleaner within the oven and let it sit for about 30 minutes. I used paper towels to clean up and a lot of the grease just wiped right off. The heavier baked on stuff didn't budge. After two more applications I was able to get most of it out and looking new again.I really appreciate that my home doesn't smell like a chemical factory when cleaning the oven (filled with toxic fumes) - I just wish this was a little stronger on cleaning baked on messes.

This says that cleans oven and what a better place to test this with my work oven. first I want to say that does not smell bad. is easy to apply and after applying it use a microfiber towel to remove all the dirty parts. I tested it in the oven, floor and tables and does a great job. I took some nice picture so you can go see them. the formula is thick and not liquidly and is just perfect for any greasy job.

I have some oven cleaner somewhere under my sink, but I couldn’t put my hands on it. I don’t use standard oven cleaner unless absolutely necessary. I have asthma and the fumes alone can trigger an attack. Instead, I’m a clean as you go person and when I tackle the oven, it’s still hard work. My oven isn’t horribly messy, but I’ve been baking lately. There’s plenty of spatter to work on.This Kona can be applied in a spray or stream. I decided to spray some on to see how it would work. I didn’t get obsessive, but rather a spray, light scrub, and wipe was in order. I sprayed and let it set a while before I got out my Scrubex pad. It was a really quick job, but I was amazed at how well the Kona worked with so little effort. I worked at it for less than five minutes, but my efforts told me a lot. It told me when I run out, I’ll be purchasing another bottle.I do have a gas stove with a self-clean feature, but it runs way too hot. Running that in this old house could easily cause a fire as the temperature gets too high. This Kona truly is fume-free and very easy to use. I know now that I’ll be taking a bit of time next weekend to thoroughly clean that oven, a task that won’t take long at all. Very highly recommend this product!

Worked like a charm. Used this to clean my laser engraver/cutter and it worked extremely well. No fumes or other issues. Easy clean with a quick brush and good to go. Recommended!

I am reodering this today. It cleans very well and does not seem toxic like many oven cleaners. I've tried homemade "safe" oven cleaning, but this works so much better.

Let the product sit 30min -1 hr and my oven cleaned so easy !!!! Can’t wait to try it on my grill outside !

No scent

This was a great oven cleaner. Love that it had no strong odor and that it was easy to wipe clean.

This oven cleaner is even better than advertised. I have an old oven which I was not looking forward to cleaning. East to use? YES!!! Deep cleaning? YES!!!!! Pleasant scent? YES!!!! In moments my oven was clean with NO scrubbing and no toxic odor!!! So, I highly recommend!

Cleaned grease from stove surface

I moved into a rental property where the oven had not been cleaned. There was mold growing in it, it was so bad. I sprayed this on, let sit as direct, then used a little no-scratch scrubber. I was very satisfied with the result. There is almost no odor to the product, which is very nice, and you don't have to preheat your oven. I did wear gloves, but I always wear gloves when cleaning. I do recommend this product. For deep cleaning, I'd just go another round with it, as I plan to do.

I cleaned my oven. It had a lot of build up stains etc. The cleaner was excellent. It was easy to use. I had to scrub a little but it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The smell was a clean smell and I didn’t mind it at all.

Safe and cleaned as expected!

This did not perform miracles, but I have to say that my stovetop looks cleaner than it has in a long time. I'm pretty sure that an oven cleaner would work better (my maid used to swear by oven cleaner), but that involves sickening fumes that I don't want in my house, so I'll stick with this.

The Kona oven cleaner came in handy for me when cleaning up my oven so I could list my house for sale. I sprayed and left it for a while to continue on the never ending cleaning mission and when I came back the grime was lifted and ready to be wiped away. So easy and saved me time and strength scrubbing it clean. I'm going to save the rest of the bottle for the new house to clean our new oven. No smell with this product. This is a good purchase.

Worked well to clean a boil over In the oven. It did not remove the need for some elbow grease but it did not stink and helped loosen the burned on crude. Would buy again.

I used this on my grill and the drip pan. Sprayed on, waited about 15-20 minutes and used wire brush then hosed off. Clean and easy.

While I can't comment on how well this works to clean an actual oven, I can say that it works very well as a cleaner/degreaser for cleaning engines. I usually use oven cleaner for getting the last bits of oil/grease off motorcycle engines before painting them when rebuilding older bikes. They need to be clean and without any residue left behind for the paint to stick. This one works as well as any other cleaner I've used in that case. Some oven cleaners I've used in the past tend to attack aluminum if left to sit too long. I left this on for a half hour or so and it cut everything I wanted (even some of the old paint still on the engine) but didn't attack the metal at all. It sprays on kind of thick and oily, which is great since it sits and does it's thing without running and dripping off too bad. It didn't dry out in the half hour I left it either, which is a plus. It rinsed off great with just plain water alone. It did seem to leave a bit of white residue on spits, but it wiped away easily. That could have been left behind by some of whatever it cleaned off too though, who knows. This cleaner claims to have no fumes. Some oven cleaners I've used in the past were down right nasty with the fumes! Like getting tear gassed! lol This one had no fumes or odors at all that I could tell. I was using it outdoors, but again I didn't detect any trace of smells/fumes/etc.
